In this day of "cookie-cutter" business operations, we, at Tiffany, pride ourselves: we're a quality house, we pay attention to details, we're sensitive, we cater to the needs of our clients and we're very creative. In fact, whether the images be created from one of our many studio settings or most anywhere on location -- locally, in or out of Florida or even abroad--we are nationally and internationally known for our traditional and contemporary style of creative photography.
Tiffany was originally started as a "mom & pop" operation in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in 1953, being then operated out of just two small bays of space at 948 N.E. 20th Ave. Today, 44 years later, Tiffany is still at the same location but wears a different face.
Sheila and Robert Hurth The present owners--the award winning, husband and wife team, Robert & Sheila Hurth--bought Tiffany in 1982 and have since expanded the business operation to its present, full-service, status: it now occupies approximately 7/8ths of the building; offers a full line of photographic services (Portraiture--children, family, individuals, pets, lifestyle, executive--Wedding, Model, Glamour/Boudoir photography, Commercial/Product/ Advertising photography, Convention/Event photography, Bar & Bat Mitzvahs and Entertainer/Public Relations photography).
Tiffany maintains a staff of 10 people to better serve its clientele; it has two darkrooms in-house (black/white & color) for processing of their own film and printing of their own work, thereby enabling them to keep total control over any resulting photographic images; offers in-house digital photographic services for the capturing, scanning and retouching/enhancement of photographic images; has a complete in-house SVHS video production company to compliment its photographic division as well as for the creation of original videos such as infommercials; and, last but not least, Tiffany has the expertise and experience.
For example, the Hurths received their photographic education and have studied both in this country as well as in Europe. Between the two of them, they have over 40 years of photographic experience. This knowledge and experience has not only led the Hurths to develop and maintain a successful photography business but also to teach and write.
They teach photographic seminars in Ft. Lauderdale as well as in the Carolinas twice each year; they have conducted many seminars for various local, state and national photographic associations across this country over the last several years; in addition, and to date, they have authored four photographic tutorial books for national distribution and are slated to author two additional books on photography in the immediate future; finally, they have produced five tutorial videos on the subject of Boudoir and Portrait photography.
All of this knowledge and experience helps assure any client that they will be receiving some the finest, most creative and unique photographic work available, regardless of the nature of the project.
